In this two-day workshop, Ernie Conover will show you how to make your hand plane work perfectly by guiding you though sharpening and adjusting it to perfection. Sharpening your chisels to razor sharp edges follows. He will then teach you to hand cut through and half-blind dovetails followed by using a mortise chisel to chop mortises and back sawing tenons that match. These iconic joints are the very basis of furniture construction.
